Let's face it. The hard drives Sony and Microsoft put in the PS4 and Xbox One are bad. They are so slow and with games getting larger and larger 500GB no longer holds enough games.  We can professionally install a superfast SSD or SSHD for a lot more speed. Load times and install times will all get better. We can fix any controller we can get the parts for.  We do all repairs in house. Our most common current repairs include Nintendo Switch Joycons,  Xbox One regular and Elite controllers, and PS4 controllers.  We also fix 360 controllers, PS3 controllers, and we can fix older controllers as well as joysticks or fight sticks.  We accept drop offs in store for repair, or you can mail in your controller for repair.

This is a batch of repairs we did with various issues.  By far drifting is the most common problem.

The new Xbox One Elite controller version 2 is already coming through our shop, and we can repair most issues. Drift and bumpers are the usual problems. 

We are getting more and more Xbox One controllers in for repair.  We can fix almost anything from bad sticks to buttons.  Most repairs are around $30.

So we waited a while to jump on the Xbox One bandwagon.  More precisely we waited until the Halo 5 beta.  So the beta came and went, and we now have Xbox Ones available for play in the blue room.  Games include Assassin's Creed Unity/Black Flag, Minecraft, Forza 2, Sunset Overdrive, Titanfall, and UFC.  Stay tuned for more titles we will add.  This means we are one of the few gaming centers around much less in Austin that have PC, Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Wii U gaming!

Game Republik is your source in Austin for game controller repairs. We have recently been on a tear for Xbox 360 controller repairs, but we also fix controllers for Playstation 3 and 4, Xbox One, Wii U, and Wii U game pads.  Don't forget fight sticks as we can fix those as well so long as we can find the parts.  Most controller repairs are between $20 and $30.  Joystick repairs depend fully on part cost, as do Wii U gamepad repairs which range between $40 and $80. The Halo 4 controller has the unique white PCB which really makes it stand out with the see through shell.

Lastly we have a classic black Xbox 360 controller that needed a new stick.  Once repaired they are just like new again!
